Outer Banks Veterinary Hospital

Outer Banks Veterinary Hospital provides medical, dental and surgical care for pets. Its in-house laboratory runs full bloodwork panels and radiographs, and many results come back the same day, so pets don't have to wait long for a diagnosis. Dr. Jay Taylor opened the practice in 2010, after several years in private practice and emergency medicine in the area.

Appointments can be requested through the website, though the form doesn't guarantee a time, so calling is the surer way to book. The office is open weekday mornings and afternoons Monday through Thursday, and after-hours emergencies are handled through a separate line. The clinic is on North Croatan Highway in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
