Blue Crab House

Blue Crab House sells steamed crabs, crab cakes, homemade soups and salads, and fresh seafood. Steamed crabs and steamed shrimp are offered by the half bushel or by the dozen, and the menu also includes cream of crab soup, Maryland crab soup, potato salad, cole slaw and deviled crab and shrimp eggs. Owners Jimmy and Holly Marcin buy the crabs locally and handle the purchase and sale themselves, which the business says gives it better quality than large national seafood distributors.

Orders are placed by phone at 410-836-1600, and the shop is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11am to 7pm. The business is on Ady Road in Pylesville, Maryland, in Harford County, where regulars come for weekend crab dinners.
