Hard cider sweetened with wildflower honey124 W Main St, Stoughton, WI
Mershon's Cidery makes hard apple cider in Stoughton, sweetened with wildflower honey alongside fresh pressed apple juice. Founder Joseph Baird developed the recipe through years of home experiments, and the result is a cider and mead blend, sometimes called a cyser, with a robust alcohol content and natural apple sweetness. The signature recipes use only fresh juice, fruit and honey, with no concentrate, added flavors or preservatives.
The tasting room on West Main Street is open Wednesday through Sunday, and visitors can sample the lineup there. Bottles are also sold at nearby stores. The cidery takes private event bookings and direct cider shipment orders, which can be arranged by reaching out to the business.
