Nakashima Golf

Nakashima Golf makes custom golf clubs and is known for its driver fitting sessions, which measure ball speed, launch angle and spin to find each golfer's most efficient setup. The line includes drivers, fairway metals, utility metals, irons, wedges, putters, shafts, grips, headcovers and apparel. Its Stockton studio handles the fittings.

A 90-minute driver fitting costs $100 with a driver purchase, regularly $150, and the fitting fee is separate from the price of the club. The company says golfers should gain at least 15 yards or pay nothing for the session. Any driver, fairway or utility purchase includes unlimited re-fittings for 90 days. Appointments are made by phone during weekday office hours.
