Blue Rooster Farms

Blue Rooster Farms is a U-Pick flower farm that grows 30 to 40 varieties of flowers through the year, with well over 10,000 plants in the ground at any given time. Ranunculus, anemones and snapdragons show up in spring, while zinnias, sunflowers and dahlias fill summer and fall. The farm plans its plantings at least a year ahead and grows without synthetic chemicals.

Visitors can pick their own flowers on scheduled U-Pick days, or come for a Flower Walk or Bouquet Build day during the season. Bouquets are also sold at local florists, and seasonal weekly or biweekly bouquet delivery to homes or offices is available. For weddings, farmer's choice buckets can be picked up for do-it-yourself bridal bouquets, and custom work is arranged by phone. The farm is on Bear Creek Road in Sterrett, about six miles off Highway 280, and visitors should schedule their U-Pick time online ahead of time.
