CFC

CFC, formally the National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation, is a member-owned finance cooperative that lends money and provides strategic services to the rural electric cooperative network. Its work centers on meeting the financing needs of those member cooperatives, and it also raises capital through retail and institutional investing offerings.

Most people reach CFC through its member programs, events and training, or its investor relations team, and the main line connects to separate desks for members and the capital markets. Weekday hours run until 4:45 p.m. Eastern. The headquarters in Dulles, Virginia, opened in 2011 and has LEED Gold certification.
