XL Fireworks

XL Fireworks is a family-owned fireworks store in Sterling Heights that sells sparklers, fountains, aerial rockets, canister shells and mortar kits for Fourth of July, New Year's Eve, weddings and backyard parties. The shop is known for a large selection and for staff who test and use their products, so they can recommend what fits a particular display.

The store is on 15 Mile Road at Moravian Road and draws customers from across Metro Detroit. Appointments are available all year, and the shop runs extended hours in the weeks before the major fireworks holidays. The store also has a tent sales location in Shelby Township during the season, and staff can explain Michigan's fireworks laws.
