The Pantry Restaurant

The Pantry Restaurant & Deli is a family restaurant known for unique breakfasts, especially its oven-baked German-style pancakes such as the Apple Pancake, Banana Nut Surprise and Dutch Baby. The menu also covers omelettes, crepes, waffles, egg combinations, soups, salads, sandwiches and a lunch menu. Founded in 1978 by Joe Moceri and partners, it has been run by the Moceri family since 2008 and is involved in community events.

The restaurant does dine-in, carry-out and catering, and catering for parties, meetings and events is one of its specialties. Weekends can bring long lines, so plan for a wait at busy times. Its Sterling Heights location is at Van Dyke Avenue, and it also has a second location in Clinton Township.
