Shelby Trim

Shelby Trim is an automotive soft-trim shop that handles car interiors, seat repair, convertible tops, headliners and vintage restoration. The shop also does boat seats, marine canvas, RV and camper upholstery, and commercial or industrial seating, all in the same workshop. Dan and Terri Kreucher founded the business in 1979, and Steve and Christen Gamache have since bought it and kept the same approach.

Shelby Trim takes calls and walk-ins at its showroom on Mound Road in Sterling Heights, where staff can help with an estimate. Most estimates go out within one business day, and you can also send photos and project details online. The shop does work for the general public as well as corporate accounts, including dealership warranty repairs. In-house metalwork and a range of sewing machines allow it to match factory stitching on older vehicles.
