The Canine Professor

The Canine Professor is a dog training practice led by Christie Mault, a certified master trainer who began working with dogs in 2001 by volunteering at local animal shelters. Her work covers everyday problems like pulling on the leash, jumping on guests, excessive barking and dogs that ignore commands, along with service dog and therapy dog training. Her approach focuses on open communication, with dogs and their people trained as a team.

Owners can work with Christie in person in St. Petersburg or through virtual training for clients elsewhere in the US. Free consultations are offered by phone, and new clients using the contact form should expect a reply within 24 to 48 hours because of request volume. Christie has helped thousands of dogs stay out of shelters and settle into their homes.
