Cindy Athey

Cindy Athey is a DOT-qualified Substance Abuse Professional who handles the full remote SAP process for safety-sensitive workers. She works with CDL and non-CDL drivers, other DOT-regulated employees, and people who have violated an employer policy. She is qualified under 49 CFR Part 40 for all DOT modes of transportation, including FMCSA, FAA, FRA, FTA, PHMSA and USCG, and she guides clients through the FMCSA Clearinghouse and the return-to-duty steps that follow.

Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, she conducts evaluations by telehealth, with an online assessment and follow-up appointments usually scheduled within one to two days of a client being ready. A $50 scheduling payment reserves the appointment and is deducted from the $600 total SAP fee, and appointments are not held until it is received. After education or treatment is complete, the Step 4 follow-up is done and return-to-duty paperwork goes to the employer the same day. Non-DOT evaluations are also offered at $600.
