I&M Machine and Fabrication

I&M Machine and Fabrication is a custom metal fabrication and precision machining shop with a large campus of equipment under one roof. Its services cover laser cutting of plate and tube with fiber and CO2 lasers, plasma and flame cutting, water jet cutting, punching and shearing, computerized tube bending, welding including robotic welding, large machining, and industrial metal finishing such as powder coating and wet paint. Customers can also request estimates and CAD services.

The shop is family owned under the same local ownership since 1974, and it reports about 200 employees across more than 375,000 square feet of manufacturing space. It holds ISO 9001 certification and runs its own delivery fleet, with logistics to Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa. The office is on South 3rd Street in St. Joseph and keeps weekday business hours.
