Bling Advisor

Bling Advisor makes custom engagement rings, wedding bands and other fine jewelry from sketches, photos or rough ideas a client already has. Its founders, Kathleen and Amber, have spent decades in the jewelry trade working with brand-name jewelers, and they bring that experience to projects ranging from simple bands to intricate one-of-a-kind pieces. Shoppers can also browse ready-made jewelry, including previously loved pieces and gifts under $500.

Everything happens online. A client submits design inspiration, meets with an advisor by virtual call, approves a 3D model, and then receives the finished piece once the chosen metal is cast and the stones are set. The team sends regular project updates, and the company says its online-only model keeps prices below typical retail custom pricing. The business address is in Saint Joseph, but there is no storefront to visit.
