AE Lofts

American Electric Lofts rents studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments in a seven-story downtown building that was once a 19th-century dry-goods warehouse. The original masonry walls and timber structure were kept during the renovation, and modern finishes such as quartz countertops and smart apartment features were added. A coffee shop occupies the first floor.

Dogs are welcome, and the property has a dog park and a dog wash. Residents share a club room with a full kitchen for parties, a community room, a game room, and a fitness center with a 600 square foot yoga room equipped with TRX gear and Echelon exercise bikes. Floor plans vary from floor to floor, and tours are arranged by calling the office. The building is at 302 N. 3rd St. in downtown Saint Joseph, Missouri.
