UnitedHealth Group is a healthcare and well-being company made up of two businesses, UnitedHealthcare and Optum. UnitedHealthcare offers health benefits and Medicare Advantage plans, while Optum delivers care and runs pharmacy services. The company reports more than 19 million home visits in 2025, so some care is brought to people at home. It is a large national organization with its headquarters outside of a local storefront, so most people reach it by phone or online.
