Matt Powers Custom Homes

Matt Powers Custom Homes builds custom houses and handles whole-home renovations across the Houston area, with a focus on luxury homes designed around each family. Matt Powers started as a superintendent for a Texas builder in 1992 and founded the company in 2001. Its projects include a modern golf course estate and a whole-home renovation that won the Grand Remodeler of the Year award in 2022, along with six Texas Association of Builders Star Awards.

Clients typically begin with a consultation, and the team stays involved through design, construction and final delivery, with an operations manager and construction coordinator keeping projects on schedule. Laura Powers of Laura Powers Property Group works with build clients on finding property. The office is in The Woodlands, and the company has built in Hockley as well.
