Katy Volleyball

Katy Volleyball Academy, known as KVA, is a competitive club volleyball program in Katy that also runs camps, skills training and a Power League. The program was established in 1998 by Jimmy and Tawanna Botter under the earlier name Katy Juniors. KVA says its club program is priced well below what other area clubs charge, and its training stresses fundamentals, game awareness and consistency under pressure.

Families can reach the club by email for general questions, club and summer league matters, beach volleyball, or the Power League, and there is a newsletter signup on the site. The club has a gym at 2225 Porter Rd in Katy. Players are not required to commit on the day of tryouts, according to the club's own promise.
