Coney Island Bar

Coney Island Bar is a long-running Italian-American restaurant and bar in Sparks, known for weekday lunches and private banquets alongside its neighborhood bar crowd. The Galletti family has run it since 1946, and the brick building is listed on the State Register of Historic Places. Each weekday has its own lunch menu, and the monthly Wednesday night dinner menu features a rotating list of specials.

Lunch is served Monday through Saturday from 11 to 2. Happy hour runs in the afternoon on weekdays. Most dinner service is reserved for private parties, with banquet menus for groups, and the public dinner has moved to Wednesday nights. The restaurant sits where Reno and Sparks meet, on Prater Way, and it has been a gathering spot for generations of locals.
