Design Studio of Somerville

Design Studio of Somerville is a full-service interior design firm founded by Tom Sfisco, who has more than 36 years of experience in the industry. The team works on entire residences or single rooms, from grand estates to smaller living spaces, choosing furnishings, fabrics and finishes to suit each client. Beyond design work, the studio stocks window treatments, flooring and carpets, lighting, bedding, art, faux botanicals and furniture.

A project usually starts with an in-home visit where a designer talks through your plans. The studio has a showroom floor with furniture from several manufacturers, so you can see and touch pieces before you decide, and it offers financing. An online store lets shoppers browse décor and furnishings from home. The studio is on West Main Street in downtown Somerville, and it keeps longer hours on weekdays than on weekends.
