Upright Land & Tree

Upright Land & Tree is a land and tree service company that handles tree removal, tree lines, drainage, grading and firewood sales. The company is licensed with the New Jersey Board of Tree Experts, with a Licensed Tree Care Operator always on staff, and it is registered as a licensed landscape and tree service company with a Home Improvement Contractor license. Removal work covers trees, shrubs and stumps, particularly when a tree is severely diseased, poses a safety risk or has storm damage.

The owner grew up in Franklin Township and started cutting lawns there as a teenager. The business has served Central New Jersey for nearly three decades and has shifted toward environmentally focused services. Its firewood is cut from local tree removal jobs and seasoned at least nine months to a year, with moisture kept at 20 percent or less. The office is on Elizabeth Avenue in Somerset.
