Somerset Creamery

Somerset Creamery makes homemade ice cream daily and serves it as cones, sundaes, banana splits, frappes and floats. Its best-known flavor is Cranberry Bog Ice Cream, a cranberry base mixed with craisins, walnuts and dark chocolate. Waffle cones are baked fresh every day at each location.

The business is family owned and has run since 1937, when Victor and Mary Spanick started it. Customers can eat in or take home hand-packed pints and quarts. There are three shops: two in Somerset, on Route 6 and County Street, and one in Cataumet on Cape Cod. The shops are seasonal, and the Route 6 location closes for the season on October 25.
