Woodfin Funeral Chapels

Woodfin Funeral Chapels is a family-owned funeral home with an onsite crematory, serving Middle Tennessee from locations in Murfreesboro and Smyrna. The family has been in funeral service since 1893, and the business is now run by Shannon Woodfin Parsons, a fifth-generation funeral director, with a sixth generation coming into the work. Services include traditional burial, cremation with a full funeral, memorial service or more private options, and help with veterans' benefits.

Families can personalize a service with tribute videos, keepsakes and live streaming for relatives who cannot attend in person. The Murfreesboro chapel is on Lascassas Pike (Hwy. 96), and the Smyrna location is on North Lowry Street. The firm also offers preplanning and a year of weekly grief messages by email.
