Bubby's BBQ

Bubby's BBQ serves Texas-style barbecue, pit smoked meats and homemade hearty sides, cooked by a family that started out selling at the Smithville Farmers Market before opening a permanent restaurant. The menu centers on slow-smoked meats and two house-made sauces, an sweet and peppery OG and a vinegar-based Sweet Heat with a little kick. Catering is also available for events.

The pit room has a traffic light system showing what is still available, with red for sold out, yellow for almost gone and green for fully loaded. There are no reserved tables, so seating is first come, first serve, and there is an outdoor patio. Phone orders are taken only after 2 PM, and catering requests go by email and are picked up at the restaurant. Bubby's BBQ is at West Loop 230 in Smithville.
