Stage 1 Music

Stage 1 Music is a music school and instrument shop that teaches guitar, piano, drums, voice, bass, ukulele, violin, viola, cello, brass and woodwinds to students from about age 6 through adulthood. Lessons are taught in its studios or one-on-one online. The shop also sells instruments, amps, pedals and accessories, and it repairs guitars, with most repair work handled by a local luthier.

The school hosts recitals on the stage at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center and organizes student bands and ensembles. Stage 1 Music is at 2819 Cochran Street in Simi Valley, on the northeast corner of Sycamore and Cochran. Store hours run afternoons and evenings on weekdays and Saturday, and it is closed on Sundays.
