Marilyn’s Mediterranean Kitchen

Marilyn's Mediterranean Kitchen serves Greek and Middle Eastern plates built around gyros, shawarma and kabobs, along with tacos, wraps and salads. The gyro meat is an 80/20 beef and lamb blend, and the chicken gyro is made from chicken, both seasoned and grilled. Many dishes come with a choice of two sides, such as rice, fries, salad or hummus, and the house tzatziki and tahini dressing are made in-house.

The restaurant is family-owned, and the recipes are described as family recipes passed down through generations. It is on East Los Angeles Avenue in Simi Valley, and it is open daily from late morning into the evening, with hours around 11 AM to 8 PM listed on the site.
