Real estate in Short Hills

Real estate agents help people buy, sell and value homes, and many also handle the paperwork and negotiation that come with a sale. Common services include representing buyers or sellers, running home searches, preparing a valuation, advising on staging and listing, and negotiating contract terms. When choosing one, ask how many homes they have sold in the kind of property you own or want, and who will actually handle your day-to-day calls and showings. Check that the agent is licensed in New Jersey and ask about their commission and what it covers before you sign anything. Contact a few agents early, since good ones often book their calendars weeks ahead, especially in spring.
