Kickstart Cafe

Kickstart Cafe is a family-run coffee shop and café serving coffee, teas, iced drinks, thick smoothies, sweets and large sandwiches. The owners are Matthew and Stephanie, an engaged couple from Stratford, and Matt's mom Linda makes the desserts. Vegetarian and vegan options get their own prep areas, and the menu also covers traditional fare.

You can order by phone and pick up curbside at one of three spots beside the building, so there is no need to leave the car. Guests who want to stay can sit indoors, use the Wi-Fi and USB charging plugs, and have breakfast there and lunch to go. The cafe is at 462 Howe Ave in Shelton.
