Highland Golf Club

Highland Golf Club is a private golf club established in 1900 and one of the longer continually operating private clubs in Connecticut. Its Frank G. Gates designed course has rolling hills and target greens, and the club hosts member and member-guest tournaments, interclub matches and a championship season each year.

The club is a short drive from downtown Shelton, Connecticut. Its clubhouse was rebuilt after a fire destroyed the earlier building in November 2024, and the new clubhouse opened in May 2026 with a bar, dining room and covered patio. The clubhouse handles facility rentals, and the pro shop is open daily except Monday mornings, with members and guests welcome to play for any skill level.
