Wood Therapy Services

Wood Therapy Services provides pediatric speech and language, occupational, and physical therapy for children from birth through age 18. The practice has been offering early intervention and school contract speech services for almost two decades and now also takes private clients for all three therapies. Its team includes speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, and therapy assistants.

Therapy is offered at the Shelby and Forest City clinics, with occupational therapy also available at Statesville, and speech therapy can be provided in homes, daycares, and other community settings in several surrounding counties. Occupational therapy sessions at the clinics can include use of a sensory gym. The business is locally owned and family-run by Shana Carroll and Josh Carroll, both natives of Shelby, and its Shelby clinic is at 1607 East Dixon Boulevard.
