The Lifting Lab is a 24/7 full-service gym built around free weights, weight machines, cardio equipment, and specialized powerlifting and strongman gear. Its competition-level equipment lets lifters train with the same gear they will use in meets, and there is a turf area outside for prowlers and sleds.
Members can use the workout floor and the bathrooms and showers at any hour, every day of the week. Staffed hours are 7 AM to 8 PM on weekdays, and memberships come in several price options. The gym is on North Post Road in Shelby, North Carolina.
