Scottree

Scottree grows balled and burlapped ornamental trees for the landscape industry, including shade trees, evergreens and ornamentals. The farm began in the late 1980s and early 1990s as a Virginia Pine operation, first growing improved pines as cut-your-own Christmas trees before shifting to landscape stock.

The nursery sells to landscape professionals and urban foresters rather than to walk-in homeowners, and its focus is on planting depth, planting technique and healthy root stock. Scottree is at 108 Berry Dr. in Shelby, North Carolina.
