Healing Matters

Healing Matters is a counseling practice in Shelby offering individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults. The clinicians treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities, trauma, grief and bereavement, and behavioral concerns. Approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy and play therapy for younger clients.

Heather Mattison, Lisa Butler and Jordan Rodriguez see clients, and the practice is accepting new client referrals. Heather and Jordan take adolescents and adults, Lisa works with young adults and adults, and Jordan sees clients of all ages. Telehealth sessions from home are available and are covered by most insurance plans. The practice accepts private insurance but not Medicaid or Medicare. The office is at 132 Elizabeth Avenue in Shelby.
