GSM Outfitters

GSM Outfitters sells hiking boots, sandals, outdoor clothing, tents and camping accessories from well-known outdoor brands, along with its own line of clothing and sandals. The shop is run by hikers who know the local trails and can help plan a route, and it sells hand-made maps of the area. A coffee café on site serves mochas, lattes, cold brew and Italian sodas made with soda from Italy.

Staff are glad to answer questions about hiking, camping and fishing, and the shop offers discounts to hiking club members and supporters of nature organizations. The store is closed on Wednesdays and keeps shorter hours on Tuesdays and Sundays. It is on Wears Valley Road in Sevierville, near the Great Smoky Mountains.
