Canyon Outfitters Sedona sells outdoor clothing, hiking boots, backpacks, tents, sleeping bags and climbing gear for hikers and backpackers exploring the red rock country. The store has been in business since 1993 and is the largest Kuhl dealer in Arizona, so it is a good stop for technical apparel.

The shop is in West Sedona on State Route 89A, about 2.5 miles west of the 89A and 179 double roundabout, with additional parking in the rear. It does not rent equipment or carry fishing gear. For camping and backpacking rentals, Peace Outfitters in Flagstaff and Lower Gear, which delivers rental gear to a home, a destination or a hotel, are the nearby options. The store is closed on major holidays and closes an hour early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
