Tried N' True Tattoo is a tattoo shop with two full-time artists offering all styles, from black and grey realism to traditional, bold, and colorful work. Wild Bill, the owner, is known for boldly detailed black and grey realism, and the shop also takes on fixes for bad tattoos and clients unhappy with a previous artist. Joshua Rowlands focuses on neotraditional, traditional, and Japanese-influenced styles, and Alyssa Rose works across fine line and traditional designs.

Walk-ins are welcome, though appointments are preferred and booked through the consultation form on the website, where you can share reference images. The shop requires a 20% non-refundable deposit on appointments, has a $75 minimum, and does not offer piercing. Tried N' True is at 310 North Washington Avenue in Scranton, and the shop is open afternoons and evenings Tuesday through Saturday.
