Scranton Primary Care

Scranton Primary Health is a community health center serving the Greater Scranton area since 1978, offering primary medical, dental and behavioral health care. Its medical services cover pediatrics, adult and family medicine, women's health and perinatal care, and an infectious disease team evaluates and treats conditions such as STDs, HIV and hepatitis C. The Ed Dulworth Dental Clinic handles cleanings, exams, fillings, crowns, root canals and dentures.

Care is offered at a reasonable cost to everyone, including people who are under-insured or uninsured, and no one is turned away for inability to pay. Staff can help people sign up for the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid and CHIP. Vaccinations and respiratory illness testing are arranged by calling or emailing ahead. Patients can book some appointments online, and after-hours calls go to an answering service that reaches the provider on call. Visits are at the Alder Street Family Clinic in Scranton.
