Masonry & concrete in Scranton

Masonry and concrete businesses build and repair the solid parts of a home or property: brick, stone and block walls, poured concrete slabs and steps, retaining walls, and in some cases steel railings and structural work. Many also handle excavation to prepare a site, supply ready mix concrete for larger jobs, or fabricate precast pieces. When you call, describe the job in specifics, such as what is cracking or what the finished space should look like, and ask whether the contractor will visit to see it before quoting. Ask, too, who will do the work and whether they carry liability insurance and hold the licensing your job requires. Concrete and masonry work is easier to schedule in dry, mild weather, so calling early in the season often gets you a faster start.
