The Poisoned Pen Bookstore

The Poisoned Pen is an independent bookstore specializing in fiction, with a strong focus on mystery, thrillers, historical and literary fiction, and literature of the American Southwest. Much of the stock is current and classic work, including autographed first editions and imports.

The store runs a busy schedule of author events and literary programs, many free, usually an hour or more with questions and a book signing, held at the bookstore or nearby locations such as the Arizona Biltmore Resort. Books for signing are generally expected to be bought from the store. It also offers book clubs, worldwide shipping, and a yearly mystery conference in Scottsdale. The shop is in Old Town Scottsdale's Art District, at 4014 N Goldwater Blvd.
