Starfish Hospitality Group

Starfish serves Asian coastal cuisine built around more than 70 shareable plates drawn from the cooking of Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, China and Japan. The menu pairs those dishes with hand-crafted cocktails, Asian and local beers, hot and cold sake, and a globally inspired wine list. The group was founded in 2011 by husband and wife Archie and Gretchen McConnell and also runs an offsite catering division.

The Laguna Beach and Newport Beach restaurants in Orange County serve lunch daily, with a dine-in happy hour in the afternoon and dinner through the evening. Takeout, delivery, party trays and full-service catering are available, and each location takes reservations by phone. A Starfish in Scottsdale, Arizona, the group's first location outside California, is set to open in May 2026.
