Empowered and Authentic Living

Empowered and Authentic Living is a counseling practice that pairs licensed clinical therapy with alternative healing services. Its licensed therapists see men, women, couples, families, teens, and children, and the practice commonly takes on marriage counseling, depression and anxiety, post-trauma counseling, and low self-worth. Alternative offerings include mindfulness, yoga, body-centered therapy, Reiki, and spiritual coaching.

The practice is located in Hoffman Estates, a northwest suburb of Chicago, near the I-90 tollway. Clients can request appointments through the office, and the practice also runs workshops, classes, and groups for self-reflection and growth. The practice was started in 2019 by Lisa Aranas and has grown to several therapists.
