The Futon Shop

The Futon Shop makes futons, mattresses, sofas and bedding from natural and certified organic materials, including organic cotton, wool, latex, coconut coir and horsehair. It was founded in 1976 by Suzanne Diamond, who started making organic futons in her living room, and it now operates a line of handcrafted, non-toxic furniture. Futon frames, platform beds, covers, throw pillows and tatami mats are among its offerings.

The Futon Shop offers a customizable organic latex option in soft, medium and firm, and it sells futon covers and mattress toppers as well. Customers can order online or call 1-800-443-8866, and the Santa Rosa location on Santa Rosa Avenue offers in-store shopping and local pickup.
