Good Dawg Training

Good Dawg Training is a private dog training business that works on behavior issues such as leash pulling, barking, recall, reactivity, separation anxiety and resource guarding. Training is reinforcement-based, with no force or fear used, and the focus is on understanding why a dog behaves the way it does before teaching new habits. Puppy training and scent work are also offered.

The business welcomes dogs and their families from throughout Sonoma County, including Windsor, Sebastopol, Rohnert Park, Petaluma and Healdsburg. Free 30-minute assessments are available, and most training takes place at the training center on Yulupa Avenue in Santa Rosa, with some sessions held at local training locations. Questions can be sent by text or email, and the business also runs a small retail shop.
