George Nicol Therapy

George Nicol is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering psychotherapy for adults and adolescents. He helps clients manage stress, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, trauma and major life transitions, using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and mindfulness practices. He also focuses on men becoming fathers and has over a decade of experience working with teenagers.

Sessions are typically 50 minutes, once a week, held in person at his Petaluma office or by telehealth. When a minor is involved, he first meets with the parents or guardians, and he invites parents into later sessions when that is clinically appropriate. He does not accept insurance, and fees are discussed at first contact. Cancellations need at least 48 hours notice. A free consultation can be booked before starting.
