Sharon and Son's Flooring & Cabinets

Sharon and Son's Flooring & Cabinets sells and installs flooring and cabinets, with countertops, kitchen and bath remodeling, custom area rugs and window coverings also in the mix. The business started in 1984 as Sharon's House of Carpets, founded by Sharon Barlow and her father George Brown, and it is family-owned, with her son Christopher Oddo now part of the team. Carpet, carpet tile, hardwood, laminate, tile, luxury vinyl, natural stone and glass tile are among the flooring lines, with brands such as Newton, Proximity Mills, Paradiso and Doma.

The showroom is by South Coast Plaza in Santa Ana, and staff offer free in-home estimates for cabinet and flooring projects. Customers can browse the catalog and order samples online, and the business offers financing for larger jobs. It also partners with Habitat for Humanity on flooring for its Orange County projects.
