The Texas State University Child Development Center is a university-run early education and child care program for Texas State students, staff, faculty and the wider community. It is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and holds a 4-star rating from Texas Rising Star. The center uses a play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum with qualified teachers and staff, and it runs as a department within the School of Family and Consumer Sciences.
