Total Underground Construction

Total Underground Construction is a licensed underground utility contractor that installs and repairs water, sewer, gas and fire lines, working on both open-trench and trenchless jobs. Its work covers residential plumbing, commercial plumbing, drain cleaning and hydro jetting, and it also serves developers, general contractors and municipalities with site utilities and underground infrastructure. The company is a PG&E Applicant Installer for trenching and conduit work.

The company, founded by Joseph Dometita in 2021, says it self-performs its critical work rather than subcontracting it. Estimates are free and no-obligation, and emergency plumbing and underground calls are answered 24 hours a day. Based in San Leandro, the crews serve much of the Bay Area, including Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Napa, Solano and Sonoma counties.
