Koolfi Creamery

Koolfi Creamery makes Indian-inspired ice cream in small batches, with flavors built around spices, ghee-roasted nuts, fruit jams and homemade Indian desserts such as Mysore Pak. Its signature is the dosa waffle cone, a gluten-free, fermented cone made from scratch. Drinks include masala chai and south Indian filter coffee, and the menu also includes savory Indian street food.

The San Leandro shop is on MacArthur Boulevard, just five minutes from the Oakland Zoo, and is open afternoons and evenings Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays. A second shop operates downtown in San Francisco. Pints are sold at local stores, ordering online is available, and delivery runs through DoorDash. The team also caters events and sells gift cards starting at $25.
