The Villages Golf & Country Club

The Villages Golf & Country Club is a private, gated 55+ active-living community in the Evergreen foothills of San Jose, built on a former hillside vineyard and winery. Its centerpiece is a championship golf course, and the grounds also include tennis, pickleball and bocce courts, four pools and a fitness center. Residents can join more than 60 clubs and organizations, from fine arts to stables and hiking groups.

The Clubhouse has a full-service restaurant with views of the golf course and waterways, and the Bistro & Bar serves casual meals inside or on the patio. Four community centers and banquet halls host events and weddings. Controlled gate access and a 24/7 public safety presence keep the community private, and the Pro Shop handles golf tournament bookings.
