Alum Rock Hardware, Windows & Doors

Alum Rock Hardware, Windows & Doors is a family-owned business that has sold doors, windows and door hardware since 1954. It began as a general hardware store, then in 2010 narrowed its focus to doors, windows and door hardware for homes and commercial properties. The store carries custom wood doors, pre-hung doors, window replacements, screens and decorative moulding, and it works on historic restoration projects, including odd-sized doors and jambs and older door and window repairs.

The team can pre-hang, replace or repair doors, windows, moulding and screens, and can pre-hang or duplicate doors bought from other suppliers. Customers can visit the San Jose store on Alum Rock Avenue during weekday business hours, and the shop is closed on weekends.
