Valley-Wide Recreation & Park District

Valley-Wide Recreation & Park District runs parks, classes and sports programs in the Hemet/San Jacinto, Menifee Valley and Winchester areas. Its Aquatic Center sits by Diamond Valley Lake in Hemet and has a heated 25-yard outdoor pool with zero-depth entry for small children, plus an water slide and aquatic fitness sessions.

The Aquatic Center is temporarily closed while an aquatic play structure is installed, and the district says to watch for a reopening date. When it is open, pool sessions run on weekday afternoons and weekend afternoons, with reduced rates for children under 3 and adults 55 and older. The district office is in San Jacinto, and the park system includes picnic areas, restrooms and fitness trails.
